a print by Stan Cline
Many famous movies premiered at the Carthay Circle Theatre, including Walt
Disney's Snow White. It was torn down in 1968 to make way for an office
building. According to Forrest Ackerman ("Mr. Science Fiction") a time
capsule was buried there in 1930 for the movie Just Imagine. It was
meant to be opened in 1980, but was never recovered.
